Digging to China?

It's been a busy few weeks. We now have tickets to China. Todd and I leave on Wednesday, July 8 and we return with Shiloh on Wednesday, July 22. We will most likely receive an in-country itinerary this week. We were very thankful to "purchase" our tickets with the miles we've saved for several years so we only had to pay taxes on each ticket. The best "deal" was Shiloh's lap ticket from Hong Kong to Minneapolis--it cost a grand total of $21.50!

As we "dig" through paperwork the City of Robbinsdale is also digging a big hole in our street! This is what we came home to a few days ago. The first picture is directly out our front door and the second picture is the end of our driveway.

It is now filled in but another crew will come through and do that same thing again this week.

We've also added a new feature to our blog. You can now "subscribe" and receive our new posts via email updates. Click on the right side of the blog for this feature.

  5. We went through that before we moved out of the neighborhood there, and our car got flooded on the very last time it could have ever possibly gotten flooded, because of the downpour and because we couldn't get to our alley to park in the garage...

    fun times...
